About RGCF

The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation - El Paso
About the Race

Every cancer is represented by a ribbon color and each journey through the experience is as unique and personal as the various colors in the spectrum. In our 21 years of service to the El Paso community, the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation (RGCF) is proud to have provided support and services to all the colors of cancer. We are proud to be the host for this inaugural race where all the colors of cancer will be joining forces to celebrate and honor cancer patients and providers in our community.

Every dollar raised from the event will be used locally to support people who work, live and thrive in El Paso.. your family members, friends and colleagues with cancer. This first year, 50% of the proceeds will be designated in honor of the color pink and will be used to support local breast cancer programs and services. The balance of the funds will support RGCF efforts toward reducing the burden of this disease.

Thank you for being a part of this exciting event. We look forward to seeing you on April 2 in a sea of shades as Our Colors Run Together.

In 2016, our Patient Assistance program impactive 270 individuals with help for travel, co-payments, lodging and cancer specific needs.

Our educational efforts through our annual conference and support groups reached over 750 people toward thriving after a cancer diagnosis. Additionally, we support like-minded cancer organizations whose missions mirror our own through our grant program which approaches $5 million throughout our history.
